Manchester United have signed Marouane Fellaini from Everton.

The £27.5m deal, which went through in the last few minutes of the transfer window, came after the Belgian handed in a transfer request in an attempt to force through a move.

The champions had been pursuing the 25 year-old midfielder for the duration of the summer transfer window and a £36 million joint bid for Fellaini and his Everton teammate Leighton Baines, was rejected by the Merseyside club last month.
