Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed his interest in signing Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.
Reports in the French press last week claimed that a deal had been agreed in principle between the Argentine and the Parisian club, with his long-term future at Old Trafford seemingly in the balance.
Speaking to reporters in France, former United defender Blanc – now in charge at PSG – admitted that his side are keen on bringing the former Real Madrid star to Paris, but admitted that the situation remains a ‘very complicated case’.
“I repeat once again, Angel Di Maria is part of a very, very, very big English club, which only purchased him last year,” Blanc told reporters.
“If this player left England you would expect other big teams to be interested. Paris Saint-Germain are one of them.”
