Juan Mata has admitted he was "frustrated" to see Manchester United draw 1-1 with Arsenal on Saturday, but insisted the Red Devils must take the positives from the clash at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho's men were on course to defeating Arsenal on Saturday after Mata fired in Ander Herrera's cross in the 68th minute, but substitute Olivier Giroud equalised with one minute to go to earn the Gunners a late draw.

Mata admitted that conceding so late in the clash was "frustrating" for the home side, but said United should still be happy to draw against a "great" team like Arsenal.

"It's very frustrating," Mata told Sky Sports after the game. "We were really close to winning but this is the Premier League and every team fights to the end.

"When you are winning by one goal you are not in control. We have to take positives from the performance.

"We were really close to winning against a great team like Arsenal."
