Mason Greenwood is fast becoming a key player for Manchester United as the 18-year-old forward delivered yet again in front of goal.

Greenwood has enjoyed a breakthrough season at United, scoring 15 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils - including three in his last two games heading into Thursday's Premier League match at Aston Villa.

Bruno Fernandes' controversial penalty had put United 1-0 up following a slow start, but another moment of magic from Greenwood sent Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side into the interval two up.

Anthony Martial showed good strength to start a counter-attack on the stroke of half-time, releasing Greenwood on the right.

The academy graduate opted to pass infield to Martial, who returned the favour - and Greenwood smashed a 20-yard effort low to Pepe Reina's left.

The goal left Gary Neville in awe, with the former United captain - working as a co-commentator for Sky Sports - saying: "He is some player that boy.

"This is a real talent delivering week in, week out. What a goal."
