Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is confident Willian will remain at the club this summer but is still unsure over Thibaut Courtois’ future.
Willian has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer. Jose Mourinho remains interested in a reunion with his former player at Manchester United while Barcelona have seen a £53million bid for the Brazil international turned away.
The attacking midfielder was scheduled to return to west London last week but a passport issue ensured he did not arrive back until Wednesday.
Sarri indicated he would sit down with his player to fully understand the issue and speaking at a press conference on Friday, explained he was satisfied with his explanation.

"I spoke yesterday with him about his lateness, not about his future.
"It was a very positive conversation. I am happy about it. There is not a Willian problem.
"Yes, I do (think he will stay). Very confident."
Chelsea meanwhile are prepared to let Courtois leave this summer providing they can bring in an adequate replacement.
The Belgium international, who is yet to return to training following his World Cup campaign in Russia, is keen to return to Spain where his two young children live with Real Madrid ready to provide him with that opportunity.
"I don't know (on Courtois). At the moment Courtois is the goalkeeper of the club, of Chelsea," Sarri said of his goalkeeper.
"I don't know in the future. It depends on the club. It depends especially on him, I think. But, I hope that Courtois will be our goalkeeper."
