Following the deadline day signing of Nikica Jelavic, Slaven Bilic has an array of attacking options at his disposal this season.

And, from the basis of West Ham’s matchday programme, possibly even more than that.

As the players prepared to take on Norwich City, Hammers forward Mauro Zarate took a last minute look at the matchday programme in the dressing room.

Perhaps he was hoping to find some useful information of Canaries defender Russel Martin, who knows, but when he turned to the back page with its customary team sheet, he spotted something else.

Star striker Diafra Sakho has been merged with Alex Song.

“In the new West Ham programme Numbers 15 the new player Diafra Song!!!” he tweeted, with a photograph of the gaffe.

Luckily for the Hammers, is was in fact Sakho who started, with the Senegalese striker on hand to score his side’s equaliser in the first half.
