The three Millwall fans who were arrested for running onto the pitch at Wembley on Saturday have been released without charge by police.

Hundreds of supporters invaded the pitch after the League One Play-Off Final and some goaded Bradford City manager Stuart McCall and his players.

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the pitch invasion.

Wembley Stadium will work with the authorities to identify offenders.

Three Lions supporters, aged 15, 20 and 29, were arrested for entering the playing surface but have since been released.

In total there were 13 arrests at Wembley, including both Millwall and Bradford fans.

Millwall won 1-0 to secure promotion to the Championship and manager Neil Harris will meet the board tomorrow to finalise transfer plans.
