The January transfer window will soon reach its halfway stage but Premier League clubs are yet to splash the cash as fans had expected them to.

Arsenal supporters in particular are growing increasingly miffed by the failure to complete a move for Mohamed Elneny, who the club opened talks over in late December.

Standard Sport reported yesterday that only obtaining a visa was delaying Elneny’s signature but it appears that the paperwork requires may also have been completed if reports suggesting the midfielder is in London are correct.
