New Arsenal kit: 'Leaked' Adidas home shirt for 2020/21 divides fans

1/28

Arsenal fans appear to be divided over ‘leaked’ images on social media claiming to show the club’s kit for next season.

The image in question features an Adidas shirt which will supposedly be the Gunners’ home kit during the 2020/21 campaign, though neither the club nor the manufacturer have yet announced anything official.

The jersey features the traditional white sleeves, while the torso is the usual red but runs in vertical chevrons of different shades across the body. The shirt has a white collar and red trim around the base of the sleeves, with Adidas’ iconic three stripes running down the trunk.

There is also a slight change in the logo of usual sponsor Fly Emirates, with the company name accompanied by the slogan ‘Fly Better’.

Adidas took over manufacturing duties from Puma ahead of the current season and their first round of kits were lauded, particularly the ‘bruised banana’ away shirt modelled on the legendary 1991-93 strip.
