Norwich v Tottenham team news: Tim Sherwood recalls influential trio

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood recalled Hugo Lloris, Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor to the starting XI after leaving the influential trio out of the midweek Europa League 1-0 defeat to Dnipro in Ukraine.

Jonny Howson made a long-awaited return to the squad for Norwich's Barclays Premier League home clash with Tottenham after two months sidelined with back trouble.

The midfielder took a seat on the bench, with Canaries boss Chris Hughton starting Ricky van Wolfswinkel as his lone striker in Norwich's sole starting line-up change.

Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Yobo, Bassong, Olsson, Snodgrass, Tettey, Johnson, Redmond, Fer, van Wolfswinkel. Subs: Whittaker, Howson, Hooper, Pilkington, Bunn, Hoolahan, Elmander.

Tottenham: Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho, Bentaleb, Lennon, Adebayor. Subs: Soldado, Townsend, Chadli, Eriksen, Friedel, Fryers, Kane.
