Dean Smith’s side drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace in midweek to extend their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions, yet they remain inside the dropzone and a point behind Newcastle.
At the other end of the table, Pep Guardiola’s City made it 19 wins in 24 Premier League games by beating Brentford on Wednesday.
Earlier in the campaign, the Canaries fell to a 5-0 defeat at Etihad Stadium after Jack Grealish, Aymeric Laporte, Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez added to an early Tim Krul own goal.
However, Norwich did claim a 3-2 victory in these two teams’ last meeting at Carrow Road in 2019.
