Watford defender Nyron Nosworthy is expected to return to full training next month following six months out with a ruptured Achilles.

Nosworthy (above), who sustained the problem on duty with Jamaica in March, has completed his rehabilitation at a London clinic.

The 32-year-old is back in light training and will do conditioning work at the club’s training base before joining up with Gianfranco Zola’s squad.

Watford have also been boosted by the news that Tommie Hoban is making good progress in his recovery from an ankle injury and could also return to training soon.

Meanwhile, Almen Abdi remains sidelined for tonight’s Championship game against Doncaster because of a foot injury.

Watford started the season with two wins but have taken just four points from their last four games.

Zola said: “We have a few issues and we need to work them out.”

Manchester United forward Federico Macheda could make his debut for Doncaster after joining on loan.
