Liverpool have announced the signing of Manchester City and England midfielder James Milner.
The 29 year-old will join the Reds on July 1, subject to completing a medical.
Milner, is understood to have agreed a deal worth £150,000-a-week - a figure Arsenal were unwillling to match after making an enquiry for the versatile free agent.
The former Newcastle and Aston Villa midfielder reportedly turned down a £165,000-a-week offer to stay at Manchester City amid concerns that he would not play enough at the Etihad.
Milner has 53 England caps and helped City win two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup during his five-year spell at the club.
