Pato rules out Chelsea move as he says he's staying at AC Milan

Alexandre Pato: wants to stay with Milan
11 April 2012

Alexandre Pato wants to remain at AC Milan despite speculation linking the Brazilian forward with a move to Chelsea this summer.

Reports in England and Italy claim the Blues are keen to lure the 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

"I want to remain at AC Milan and win everything with them," said Pato as reported in Gazzetta dello Sport.

"But I am a Rossonero player and my future will be decided by the club."

A move to the London outfit would see Pato reunited with former Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, who joined Chelsea last summer.

"Carlo is a great person," said Pato. "He helped me grow in Italy but I am under contract until 2014 and I am happy to remain at AC Milan."

Pato has scored 12 goals in 22 league appearances for the Rossoneri this season.
