Paulo Sousa gladly talks German

Former Queens Park Rangers boss Paulo Sousa wanted to take every credit going from his old club, including the nurturing of 18-year-old Antonio German who notched his second senior goal in the 1‑1 draw with Swansea.

The Wales side's boss, who gave the front-man his first-team debut, said: "He has good mobility, can turn quickly, is left footed which for a striker is something interesting and different to others. He's always looking for the goal and has a lot of intensity."

Current boss Neil Warnock was more down to earth about Antonio and said: "I like the lad, he took his goal well. But I gave him a bit of a roasting for when he was a bit lazy, getting caught offside when he shouldn't have."
