As had been expected over recent weeks Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he will depart Bayern Munich.

It is likely to start a mad dash across Europe to acquire the signature of the 44-year-old, widely hailed as a managerial genius after winning two Champions League trophies with Barcelona. Nowhere will that competition be more intense than in the Premier League, where all of the country’s leading sides would be expected to consider a move for Guardiola.

Manchester City have long been seen as the leading contenders to bring Guardiola to the Premier League, having hired much of the management team that helped re-establish Barcelona as a preeminent force in Europe.

However Jose Mourinho’s departure from Stamford Bridge has seen the outgoing Bayern coach propelled to the top of Chelsea’s list of targets.

Louis van Gaal may soon join the Special One on the managerial sidelines after an embarrassing 2-1 defeat at home to Norwich, further heaping pressure on the Manchester United manager.

Even Arsenal have been reported to interest Guardiola, though he would have to wait at least until Arsene Wenger’s contract expires next summer, but which Premier League giant should he go to? Have your say below.
