However, Manchester United keeper David de Gea was picked ahead of Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.
Unsurprisingly, Dele Alli and Harry Kane, who have 36 League goals between them for Maurico Pochettino’s team, are honoured for their contribution.
No other London outfit is represented in the Premier League team, with Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez losing out to Everton’s Romelu Lukaku up front, although arguably the biggest stir was provided by the inclusion of Liverpool’s Saido Mane.
