The Premier League will announce details of the 2015/16 fixture calendar on Wednesday 17 June.
The season will kick off on 8 August, a week earlier than in 2014/15, and is scheduled to end on 15 May 2016.
The move should allow Roy Hodgson more time to prepare for next summer's European Championships, which kick off in France on June 10.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already labelled the moving forward of the fixtures as "not reasonable" and he may have to rest Alexis Sanchez, who competes in the Copa America this summer.
