Pressure is driving Chelsea on, says Ashley Cole

11 April 2012

Ashley Cole has revealed it is an insatiable appetite for success that is fuelling Chelsea's efforts to complete the greatest comeback in Barclays Premier League history.

Cole has been a key member of the Blues side which has clawed back a 15-point deficit on Manchester United, who they will overhaul with victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The 30-year-old has won every honour in the domestic game, including the league and FA Cup multiple times, and is also England's most capped left-back.

But he insists he remains as hungry as ever to add to his trophy haul and that his team-mates feel the same way.

He told Chelsea magazine: "When you win things, that's what makes you realise how good it is.

"I think the pressure is what drives people on. It makes you want to prove something, to carry on going and keep on winning things. I just want to win anything because I love the feeling."
