QPR are in a spot of bother with baffling BBC

Football League Show: host Manish Bhasin
Ian Gibb11 April 2012

QPR's Loftus Road home might be in the shadow of the BBC's White City complex but the Corporation seem to be treating their local side with measured indifference this season.

Rangers sit five points clear at top of the Championship after their best start to a season in 63 years but you wouldn't know it if BBC1's Football League Show, hosted by Manish Bhasin, is anything to go by.

QPR could make only fourth spot on Saturday's show. Ipswich, creamed 3-0 by Rangers in midweek, were the main feature against the show's beloved Cardiff. Watford deserved their second billing with the 6-1 spectacular at Millwall but even Friday night's goalless draw between Doncaster and Leeds was in front of QPR. Baffling.
