QPR midfielder Joey Barton couldn't get a ticket to see his team-mates face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - so instead went to see Brentford take on Derby.
The 32-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since late September, but is steadily returning to training and could be in contention for a starting place next week.
Barton enjoyed a session with the Under21s this morning before heading to the Bridge to watch the first-team, but it emerged he wouldn't get access to the game.
He initially tweeted: "Just finished 1st session back with u21's. Good intensity and great to be back. Watch 2nd half of our 18's now then off to Stamford Bridge."
But three hours later he told his followers he would instead be traveling to Griffin Park to watch Championship leaders derby at Brentford after failing to land a QPR match ticket.
Accompanied by the hashtag #nojoke, he returned to social media and told his followers: "Been a change of plan. Heading now to Brentford v Derby. Couldn't get a ticket for Chelsea v QPR?"
