QPR probe Adel Taarabt pictures

Mercurial talent: Adel Taarabt apparantly stormed off the field and out of Craven Cottage after being substituted against Fulham

Queens Park Rangers were today investigating pictures that appeared to show Adel Taarabt posing with supporters while yesterday's 6-0 defeat by Fulham was still going on.

The striker is alleged to have chatted to fans outside the Crabtree Pub after being substituted at half-time.

Boss Neil Warnock said after the match: "You're going to get days when Adel comes off, you're going to get him throwing his dolls out of the pram."

But the manager's mood will not have been helped today as the images emerged on the Daily Mail website that appeared to back up the suggestion that the striker had walked out after being taken off.

A heavy fine for Taarabt will have to wait until he returns from international duty with Morocco.

Warnock warned last week: "If they play him as a winger, he might as well stay home with me."

But Taarabt has kissed and made up with his international masters after a previous bust-up with them when he said he'd never play again.

The Moroccan, who was linked with a move to Paris St Germain in the summer, was a key member of QPR's Championship-winning team last season but Warnock decided to hand the captain's armband to Joey Barton after he joined the club from Newcastle.
