QPR captain Park Ji-sung believes it is only a matter of time before his team winning matches on a regular basis.
Rangers host Reading tonight looking for their second straight victory in the Capital One Cup, but it is their Premier League form which is of concern to the west London club.
Mark Hughes' search for his first league win of the season stretched to five matches on Sunday after his team surrendered a one-goal lead to lose 2-1 at Tottenham.
Defeats to Swansea and Manchester City and draws against Norwich and Chelsea have raised fears Hughes' side could be set for a relegation scrap despite an extensive summer spending spree, but Park disagrees.
"Results will come soon," the midfielder told www.qpr.co.uk. "I am confident of that and so are my team-mates.
"The league table isn't a true indicator of where we are in terms of our performances. We're only five games into the season. We will continue to work hard and the points will come. It's incredible that we didn't win the Spurs game. We deserved to win and were the better side.
"We played well at home to Chelsea last weekend and then continued that at White Hart Lane. We were so dominant in the first half."
Kieron Dyer is likely to make his first start since August last year in a team containing several changes from the XI that lost at White Hart Lane.
Dyer impressed after coming on as a third-minute substitute against Spurs and Hughes admits he probably should have thrown the 33-year-old into his team earlier following his injury lay-off.
"I thought Kieron was brilliant against Tottenham," the QPR manager said. "He has been out so long that we have been trying to ease him back.
"Maybe we got that a little bit wrong because we brought him on after two minutes (against Spurs) and he still looked full of energy after 90.
"You have got to give him credit. It's been a long road back for him but you saw what he can bring to the team."
