Scolari is poised to return as Brazil boss

Luiz Felipe Scolari is set to be named the new manager of Brazil, it was reported today.

Sacked by Chelsea in 2009 after just seven months in charge, Scolari will replace Mano Menezes, who was axed last week amid fears Brazil would struggle at the 2014 World Cup they are hosting.

Scolari, 64, led Brazil to the world title in 2002, just a year after being appointed.
