Shahid Khan has called for patience from Fulham fans as he rebuilds the club.

Fulham have struggled this season but will effectively secure Championship safety with a win against Rotherham at Craven Cottage tonight.

In an open letter to fans, Khan said: “We will strive to build a team capable of challenging for top honours while delivering football that will make your trips to Craven Cottage memorable.”

Kit Symons echoed Khan’s sentiments by insisting things will get better for Fulham.

He said: “I took over when the club had one point from seven games and we have turned it around.

“We will do enough to stay up and be stronger next season.”
