Should Gary Neville be the next Fulham manager? Have your say in Standard Sport's poll

Management moves: Could Neville take the Fulham hot seat

Gary Neville has emerged as a shock contender for the vacant manager’s job at Fulham, but would the former Manchester United defender be the right choice for the Championship side?

After Steve Clarke and Gary Rowett ruled them out of the Craven Cottage hot seat, now vacant for nearly a month since Kit Symons departure, former Brentford boss Mark Warburton had emerged as the strong favourite to take over.

However the past 24 hours have seen a flurry of interest in Neville, whose odds dropped as low as 4/1 on Tuesday evening.

The 40-year-old has never managed a club before but can boast a trophy haul on a par with almost any other English footballer after his 19 years playing under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.

Neville has since crafted a career as a widely respected pundit on Sky Sports and has earned his coaching spurs working under Roy Hodgson in the England set up.

But would he be a good choice for Fulham? Have your say in Standard Sport’s poll below.
