Slavisa Jokanovic says Fulham must learn to deal with pressure after their play-off hopes suffered a blow with a 4-2 defeat at Derby.

The result means Fulham drop out of the top six in the Championship at the expense of Sheffield Wednesday, who won at Rotherham.

Jokanovic said: “We paid a very expensive price because we were not experienced enough in different situations during the game.

“We could have saved all the goals if we had taken different decisions. We are a young team. Like a young wine, we need time to be really quality.

“We need experience, character and personality in these moments where we are under pressure.

“We made mistakes. But we have six games left and we believe in ourselves. We must all stick together and fight until the season ends.”

Floyd Ayite cancelled out David Nugent’s opener for Derby and he also bagged a late consolation goal.
