Slavisa Jokanovic says Fulham have to learn to see out games if they want to get promoted.

Fulham conceded an 88th-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Norwich in their Championship opener at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The hosts had wasted a number of chances during the game, the best of which came as Neeskens Kebano hit the post in the second half.

However, substitute Nelson Oliveira slotted home a Wes Hoolahan cross to earn a share of the spoils.

A frustrated Jokanovic said: “I saw this story last season and it was a repeat of those kinds of situations.

“To be a top team and show the character of champions, we must stick results and die in the last few minutes to not drop points. We must improve and die in the game to get the result. We did not do that.”

He added: "Simply we have dropped two points. I see no point in complaining - it's about looking forward, not about the past.

"It's always disappointing to concede at that late point in the game. We are in a similar situation to last season when we were creating chances but not scoring enough."
