North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal will go head-to-head in the most eye catching fixture of the FA Cup’s Third Round this weekend.

With Arsenal currently top of the Premier League and Tottenham overcoming their recent troubles with victory over Manchester United on New Year's Day, expectations are high that this clash will turn out to be another memorable North London Derby.

The two rivals meet for the sixth time in the FA Cup, with the Gunners currently leading 3-2 over the course of their previous encounters.

Ahead of Saturday’s fixture, Standard Sport revisits the three most famous FA Cup matches between the two clubs- all of which were semi-finals (1991, 1993 and 2001).

The two sides have also met twice before in the Third Round with both sides claiming a win apiece. Arsenal won 3-0 in 1949 and Tottenham prevailed 1-0 in 1982.

In the only North London derby so far this season, Olivier Giroud scored the winner in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory in September’s clash at the Emirates.
