Mauricio Pochettino has urged Tottenham fans not to worry about his future, insisting he will be around when pre-season training begins in July.
Reports in Italy suggest the Spurs boss is on Inter Milan’s list of possible coaches for next season, though the Serie A club accept it will be difficult to hire Pochettino, who signed a five-year deal last May.
Pochettino’s impressive work with Spurs – who will achieve their highest-ever finish in the Premier League this term – means he is on the radar of many clubs.
But ahead of Thursday’s match at Leicester, Pochettino said: “There are many rumours but I am committed to Tottenham.
"There is no reason to leave the club. July 3, for pre-season, I will be here – you will see. Don’t worry.”
Pochettino has said repeatedly that Spurs would not be forced to sell any player they want to keep.
Kyle Walker, the unsettled England defender, is likely to leave Spurs in the summer, with Manchester City prepared to double his £70,000-a-week salary.
Dele Alli’s impressive form this season means he is also a target for wealthier clubs.
Asked whether he would definitely be at Tottenham next season, Alli told Sky Sports: “You never know, but it is a fantastic club to be part of and I can’t see many better places for me to improve.
"[But] you never know what is going to happen in the future. No-one knows. No-one can predict it.”
Pochettino added: “It will always be the club’s decision to sell or keep a player. All the players are under contract with the club.
"I told you a few weeks ago that the players we want will stay. The players who maybe have some offers, maybe we will decide to sell. It is our decision.”
