Thomas Ince 'better than Arsenal pair'

4 October 2012

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway believes Thomas Ince is as good if not better than Arsenal pair Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

The 20-year-old winger, son of former England captain Paul, has been linked with a January move to Manchester United and Holloway says it is only a matter of time before he breaks into the England squad.

He said: "He has been absolutely unplayable for us and has been outstanding in such a short period of time. I don't think the other two flying wingers [Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott ] are any better than him.

"It is because they play for Arsenal. Incey has been creating and scoring. In other words, if Arsene Wenger bought him, he'd be good enough to start for England.”
