Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar has caused quite a stir this season.

The 21-year-old did not boast a high-profile on these shores at the start of the campaign but has emerged as a linchpin in Leonardo Jardim's young, exciting side.

Kylian Mbappe may have hogged the majority of the headlines but Lemar's contribution was crucial as the French club secured the Ligue 1 title and reached the Champions League semi-finals.

Lemar scored 12 goals in 49 appearances and, unsurprisingly, is now hot property ahead of the transfer window - like many of his teammates.

The midfielder is being targeted by Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger set to be handed £100m to freshen up his squad after agreeing to extend his stay in north London.

But the Gunners are far from the only team interested in Lemar, who is also the subject of interest from Tottenham as Mauricio Pochettino eyes another Premier League title tilt.

Lemar is an orthodox left-sided winger but could also excel in a 3-4-3 formation.

The youngster certainly has an eye for goal and you can watch his best goals in the video at the top of the article...
