Thorgan Hazard will not consider a return to Chelsea until he has established himself at Borussia Monchengladbach.

The younger brother of Chelsea star Eden, was sold to the German side for £5.9million in 2014.

Gladbach have denied reports that Chelsea have a buy-back clause worth £12.9m, but Standard Sport understands the Blues do have a first option to sign him if they decide to sell him.

The Belgium international has scored seven goals this season, including one against Barcelona in the Champions League. That form has led to increased speculation that Chelsea are keen to reunite him with his brother at Stamford Bridge.

Thorgan joined Chelsea from Lens in 2012, the same summer Eden arrived from Lille for £32m, but never played for the first team.

Earlier this week, he said: "Chelsea? I’m not thinking about a move. I’m happy in Germany."

It is believed the 23-year-old’s stance is because he is still very wary of the intense competition for places in west London and while he has impressed in Germany, he has started only 30 Bundesliga games in the last two years for Gladbach.

Thorgan has been named in the first XI seven times in 11 matches so far this term, but wants much more experience in the senior side before even thinking about his next move.
