Tom Cleverley eyes return to Manchester United this summer

Moving issue: Tom Cleverley is keen to test himself at United next season
Ian Gibb11 April 2012

Watford host fellow strugglers, though much improved, Ipswich tonight with Tom Cleverley already yearning for a return from his loan spell to parent club Manchester United.

That on top of chairman Graham Taylor's warning yesterday that more players may have to be sold to balance the books.

The midfielder's goals and assists have earned him England Under-21 honours and he has enjoyed his Watford stay.

However, Cleverley said: "I want to be part of the [United] squad next season — that is every young player's ambition at Manchester United."

In the meantime Watford will pray for him to add to his double figure scoring to help save their Championship status.
