Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists it is 'impossible' for any club to buy Eric Dier or Dele Alli

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that it is "impossible" for any club to buy Eric Dier or Dele Alli.

The England internationals both established themselves as key members of Pochettino's side last season.

And the duo have been rewarded for their impressive progress with long-term contracts in recent months.

Dier has penned a deal which will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2021 while Alli has committed until 2022.

Speculation that Bayern Munich are interested in Dier has resurfaced this week but Pochettino is adamant both players will not be leaving north London.

"It makes no sense because it is impossible for anyone to sign them," Pochettino insisted.

"They are players who are in our plans today, tomorrow and for the future.

"We are very calm because they all extended their contracts four or five months ago. There are plenty of pictures."
