Tottenham can 'right their wrongs' against Arsenal, insists Jermaine Jenas

Jermaine Jeans believes Sunday's north London derby is an ideal opportunity for Tottenham to put their recent poor form to bed.

Spurs were flying high after beating Manchester City a month ago but Mauricio Pochettino's side have failed to win any of their next six matches, including a chastening 1-0 Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.

Hugo Lloris has admitted Spurs have "lost confidence" ahead of their trip to the Emirates Stadium and they could slip six points off the pace at the top of the Premier League table if they fail to beat their rivals this weekend.

But Jenas has urged his former club to stay positive and use a clash against Arsene Wenger's side as a chance to get back on track.

"As a team they will have a really good look at eachother and say this is a moment where we need to stay strogn and stand together," he told BT Sport.

"Some people will say this north London derby has come at the wrong time [for Spurs].

"But it's a great opportunity for them to put the wrongs right on Sunday," Jenas insisted.

Spurs are still unbeaten in England's top tier this term but will encounter a Gunners side that has not tasted defeat since losing to Liverpool on the opening day of the season.
