Tottenham finally ended their farcical win-loss-win-loss cycle, putting together back-to-back victories for the first time since Boxing Day with an impressive display against West Ham.

The sublime Harry Kane bagged a hat-trick of assists, with Kurt Zouma turning into his own net after nine minutes and the England captain setting up Heung-min Son either side of half-time.

West Ham halved the deficit when Said Benrahma scored ten minutes from half-time but it is Spurs who moved to within three points of fourth-place Arsenal with a 3-1 win.

Hugo Lloris 7

Relatively untroubled, aside from the goal which was well finished inside the post. Made the third goal was a precise long kick, which was flicked on by Kane.

Cristian Romero 9

Won the battle with Michail Antonio who was subbed before the hour after a bruising encounter with the Argentine. His determination and controlled aggression won back possession time and again, and he played his way out of some tight corners impressively.

Eric Dier 7

Bullied by Antonio for a big chance in the tenth minute but kept man of the moment Andiry Yarmolenko quiet for the final 30 minutes.

Ben Davies 7

Won a couple of important headers at the back post and brought the ball out of defence a couple of times. The left flank was Spurs’ weaker side in general.

Matt Doherty 7

Won the ball in the build-up to the own goal but cheaply conceded the corner which allowed West Ham back into the match. A threat at the far post, and linked up well with Kulusevski and Kane.

Rodrigo Bentancur 8

Increasingly the base from which Spurs launch their attacks. Put in another impressive display with the ball, including a stunning pirouette on the edge of his own box.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 7

Mainly a water-carrier, keeping it simple, but played one of the passes of the match when he slipped in Kane with ten minutes to go, only for the striker to scoop over the bar.

Sergio Reguilon 6

Failed to make the most of Kane’s vision again, twice fluffing great positions in the box after being set free by the striker. Movement was good and defended OK, even if he is not strong enough in 50:50s.

Dejan Kulusevski 8

Should have had another assist when Son turned his cut back onto the post. Involved in most of Spurs’ best attacks.

Heung-min Son 8

Scored twice and forced Zouma’s own goal in a decisive performance. Also struck the post as he underlined why Conte will never drop him, despite mixed form of late.

Harry Kane 9

Finished with a hat-trick of assists, and created chance after chance for Spurs from deep positions. Didn’t have a clear sight of goal himself but he didn’t need to.
