Remarkably, champions Leicester are down in eighth and have picked up less points than Southampton in the Premier League since January 2016 despite their miraculous title triumph in May.

The Eagles have picked up just four more points than Burnley in the Premier League in 2016 despite the Clarets only joining the top tier in August.
Indeed, Palace have won just six games this year - one less than Burnley - and are cut adrift from all the other clubs who have been in the top flight for the entire 12 months.
