Harry Kane has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month.

The England international scored four Premier League goals in February as Spurs secured victories over Middlesbrough and Stoke to maintain second spot in the Premier League.

His penalty in the win over Boro proved decisive, while three of Kane's goals came in the victory over Stoke, in which the striker also provided an assist for team-mate Dele Alli.

"It's a great honour," Kane said after receiving the award for the fourth time. "I'm in good form at the minute, I feel confident going into every match."

Kane becomes the third Tottenham player to win the monthly award this season after Heing-min Son clinched the gong in September and Alli was recognised for his January performances.

The striker beat off competition from Manchester City pair Gabriel Jesus and David Silva, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, West Brom's Gareth McAuley and Eldin Jakupovic of Hull.
