Adrien Rabiot wants to join Tottenham on loan from Paris St Germain for the rest of the season, according to sources in France.

The midfielder is considered one of the brightest prospects in his homeland and feels he would benefit from a loan move to the Premier League, as he is currently struggling for regular playing time at PSG.

Tottenham are known to have an interest in Rabiot and, if it is followed up, the 19-year-old would be keen on the move. With Nabil Bentaleb away with Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is without one of his first-choice central midfielders.

A permanent deal is highly unlikely, though, as Rabiot signed a new four-year deal with PSG three months ago – despite seeming to be on the brink of leaving the club for Roma last summer.

PSG are also monitoring Christian Eriksen with a view to making a summer move for the Dane.
