Tottenham vs Arsenal combined XI: Is Alexis Sanchez the only Gunner to make the cut?

Despite Arsenal finishing above Tottenham on the last day of the 2015/16 season, it would be hard to argue against the signs pointing towards a power shift in north London since then.

Mauricio Pochettino's second-placed Spurs are still in with a chance of lifting the Premier League title as they chase down Chelsea, while Arsenal are in danger of missing out on the Champions League as Arsene Wenger's Gunners struggle in sixth spot.

Spurs have tied down a number of key players with new deals this season, with Arsenal unravelling in comparison with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil just two of a number of players yet to sign contract extensions at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have moved to ease fans' fears over their star names, with Standard Sport revealing on Thursday that Sanchez has been offered a new contract worth £300,000-a-week - the biggest in Premier League history - to commit his future to the Gunners.

While Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of Sanchez, Harry Redknapp did not hold back in his frank assessment of the forward's fellow Gunners.

The former Spurs boss wrote in his weekly Standard Sport column: "Alexis Sanchez is the only Arsenal player who would get into Tottenham’s starting line-up.

"Spurs look like they are in a different league and that’s how far the balance of power has swung after more than 20 years of the Gunners dominating north London.

"The main reason is Arsenal have wasted millions on average players over the past few years.

"It was easy to see how good Sanchez was during his time at Barcelona and Arsene Wenger deserves credit for pulling that deal off but the rest of the players he has brought in over the past two or three years haven’t been good enough."

Let us know your combined north London line-up below, and we will reveal the XI later this week...
