Harry Kane can reach the same level as Arsenal legend Thierry Henry at Tottenham, according to World Cup winner Geoff Hurst.
The former Three Lions striker hails Henry, who scored 175 Premier League goals, as the best the division has ever seen.
Kane broke into the Premier League's 100 club last season, doing so in just 141 games, fewer than Henry's 160.
Ahead of the north London derby, in which Kane has seven goals from eight appearances, Hurst has backed Kane to reach Henry's level.
“I’ve said before that I believe Thierry Henry is the best player to have played in the Premier League, but I think Harry will reach his level and become as much as a legend for Spurs as Thierry was for the Gunners," Hurst told Grosvenorsport.com.
“It might take some time to score the same amount of goals, but there’s no reason he can’t. He has stayed injury free and his attitude and professionalism is up there with the best of them, so why not?
“I think Harry is also the best striker to have played in the Premier League since Henry. I must give a mention to Sergio Aguero because his record is different class too, but in terms of English strikers, Harry is out there on his own."
Further to matching Henry's shining Premier League career, contrary to many opinions, Hurst added that Kane has the chance to achieve all he would ever want to, trophy-wise, at Tottenham.
“People also suggest he might have to leave Tottenham to reach the level of Henry and other top players," he added.
"But I’m more old school in my thinking and believe that he can achieve everything he wants at Spurs."
