Tottenham misfit Vincent Janssen has finally left the club for Mexican side Monterrey in a deal that could be worth up to £8million.

The Netherlands international striker joined Spurs from AZ Alkmaar for £17m in the summer of 2016 after finishing as top scorer in the Eredivisie in the previous season.

But he scored just one league goal from open play - and two overall - in his maiden campaign in England and spent the following year on loan at Fenerbahce.

Overall, he made 42 appearances, scoring six goals and made a mini-comeback at the end of last season having been frozen out by Mauricio Pochettino.
