Tottenham striker Harry Kane has admitted that he would like to pursue a career in the NFL in the future.
The 22-year-old's stint in the Premier League is only in its' infancy but he has revealed that he has aspirations to try his hand at an entire different sport once he has hung up his football boots.
The Spurs forward took part in a selection of American football drills earlier this week and it has convinced him that he would relish an opportunity to become a kicker at a later stage in his life.
"It depends on how my football career goes but, when I am finished, I would love to go the NFL and be a kicker. Even if I got to play just one game it is something I would like to do.
"It's a long way off yet. But it is definitely something I have thought about," said Kane, who was speaking to The Sun at the launch of EA SPORTS Madden NFL 16.
However, the forward did admit that he would need to practice his technique if he was to be a success at elite level, despite encouraging signs that he possesses a transferable skill set.
"We've had NFL teams come to Spurs and I can kick the ball as high and as far as them, but not on a consistent basis so I would need a bit of practice first."

Surprisingly, Kane would not be the first Spurs player to complete a switch to American football as Clive Allen joined the London Monarchs back in 1997.
Kane is yet to score in the Premier League this season and will be keen to find the net when Spurs host Everton at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.
