West Ham have signed seven players for a total of nearly £100million, with possibly more to come.

The Hammers smashed their transfer record to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio in a deal worth up to £47m and have also added Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabian Balbuena.

It has been a busy summer for new head coach Manuel Pellegrini and sporting director Mario Husillos as West Ham look to improve on their 13th-placed finish last season.

And with Andy Carroll facing three months out injured, Pellegrini could yet bring in a new striker before their first Premier League game of the season at Liverpool on August 12.

Jordan Hugill is unlikely to feature heavily next season and an injury to either Javier Hernandez or Marko Arnautovic would leave West Ham short of forward options. Pellegrini may also look to strengthen his squad with another new midfield arrival.

The arrival of Brazil midfielder Anderson from Lazio could mean that Michail Antonio leaves, with Crystal Palace and Burnley showing an interest. Antonio is valued at £15m.

West Ham have insisted Arnautovic is not for sale but Manchester United have been linked with a move for the forward and it would be no surprise if there was more interest in him before the window closes.
