Unbeaten Tottenham Ladies win Premier League Southern Division title

1/17

Tottenham Ladies clinched the Premier League Southern Division title at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

A 4-0 win over West Ham in front of 2,140 fans saw Spurs win their 16th of 17 league games played this season, having drawn the other to drop just two points thus far during a remarkable campaign.

Josie Green opened the scoring in the first half with a stunning 25-yard effort into the top corner before Wendy Martin double the advantage before the hour-mark.

Martin then turned provider for Nikita Whinnett to slot home before Bianca Baptiste rounded off the thumping win six minutes from time.

Spurs have already bagged the Boux Avenue Cup this season, beating Charlton 3-1 in the final earlier in April to retain the cup.

Charlton are again the opponents in two further finals this season, with Spurs looking to again retain the trophy in the League Cup before heading into the Capital Women's Cup final.

In total, Spurs have lost just once in 34 games this season though that defeat came against holders Arsenal, who are flying high in the Women's Super League, in the FA Women's Cup.
