Unhappy Emmanuel Adebayor holds talks with Andre Villas-Boas

Emmanuel Adebayor has held talks with Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas over his unhappiness at a lack of first-team football.

The 28-year-old striker has made just three substitute appearances since completing a permanent move from Manchester City in the summer and started today’s game against Chelsea on the bench.

Adebayor has had to play second fiddle to in-form Jermain Defoe but, according to the Daily Mail, Villas-Boas has assured him that he remains an integral part of his plans.
