Victor Wanyama insists Tottenham have "nothing to worry about" ahead of next season because the club is building something "special."
Spurs signed off for the season on Sunday afternoon with an emphatic 7-1 victory over Hull City.
The north Londoners may have missed out on the title but there are plenty of positives to be taken after the club recorded their best top-flight finish since 1963.
Pochettino's men scored the most and conceded the fewest goals, while Harry Kane claimed the Golden Boot courtesy of a 29-goal haul.
Spurs' progress means their key players are expected to be the subject of interest from rival clubs but Wanyama is adamant the outlook is good ahead of a temporary move to Wembley.
"We are really happy to end the season this way," he told Tottenham's official website.
“There is nothing to worry about, we are building a special thing. Hopefully come next season we will improve and be better.”
Wanyama, who joined Spurs from Southampton last summer, has enjoyed a memorable debut season in N17.
The Kenya international international has established himself as a key member of Pochettino's plans and finished the campaign with four goals after notching against the Tigers.
Wanyama added: “I’ve missed some sitters with my head but now I think I’m improving so hopefully I can get more!”
