What they said

Quique Sanchez Flores (exclusively to Standard Sport)

“Every team knows how Leicester are playing. What they do is simple. But can anybody stop them? Not yet.

“Always, it has been about Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and such clubs. But the key for the other clubs now doing well is organisation. They have all chosen one style — one method — to follow and stayed with it.

“You can talk about West Ham, who are building a great squad for the future. For us, our target is 40 points and we have 37. We look like a serious project. We are getting established. We look like a consistent team at this level.”

Claudio Ranieri

“It’s not important what happens in two months, it’s important what happens tomorrow (Saturday). Football for us is tomorrow [against Watford].

“For us, it’s important to give me everything. I tell to my players if other teams will make more points than us, we can only shake their hand and say ‘well done, you are the champions. Well done, you’ve made a fantastic season’. For us, it’s already a fantastic season, it’s unbelievable.”
