Robin van Persie recovered from illness to lead the line for Manchester United at West Brom.

Phil Jones overcame a hip injury to start at centre-back while Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj returned after sitting out United's dismal defeat to Olympiacos 11 days ago.

West Brom made five changes to the team that drew against Fulham, with Steven Reid, Gareth McAuley, Claudio Yacob, Zoltan Gera and Victor Anichebe all coming into the starting XI.

West Brom: Foster, Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Mulumbu, Amalfitano, Gera, Brunt, Anichebe. Subs: Morrison, Myhill, Vydra, Dawson, Sessegnon, Berahino, Thievy.

Man Utd: De Gea, Da Silva, Smalling, Jones, Evra, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, Januzaj, van Persie. Subs: Giggs, Lindegaard, Vidic, Young, Welbeck, Fletcher, Kagawa.
